NOVA’s portfolio connects equipment used at different stages of production, from artificial lift and surface pumping to chemicals, flow control and water management. These categories are useful starting points, but the practical value comes from understanding how an individual item fits within the wider operation.
Equipment renewal, replacement and upgrades each need a clear view of the existing installation. A replacement component, a new pumping package and a process-equipment enquiry require different levels of coordination. Our approach brings the product family, operating context and associated supply requirements into the same conversation, helping customers move from a broad requirement to a clearer equipment scope.

WATER TREATMENT · FILTRATION MEDIA

MEDIA
Multi-media filtration
Media filters use granular materials selected around the feed water and the required filtration duty. NOVA’s supply scope includes the following media types for multi-media filtration and bed-support applications.

| Anthracite | Carbon-based filtration medium used for water clarification and depth capture of suspended particles. |
| Silica sand | A durable mineral filtration layer that traps suspended solids as water passes through the bed. |
| Garnet | A hard, dense mineral used for finer particulate capture within a multi-media filter bed. |
| Support gravel | A mineral support layer that holds the filtration media in place and helps distribute flow to the underdrain. |
The bed arrangement, material compatibility and backwash requirements are reviewed against the filter and its operating conditions. Backwashing removes retained solids so the media can return to filtration service.
Conventional anthracite, sand and garnet beds primarily address suspended particles. Dissolved salts, dissolved hydrocarbons and other dissolved constituents require the appropriate additional treatment. Media filtration is considered within the wider water-treatment design and does not by itself establish potable-water suitability.
