NOVA / EQUIPMENT & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

EQUIPMENT REFERENCE
HOW IT FITS THE OPERATION
The equipment between the major systems.
A production facility depends on more than its main pumping or separation equipment. Valves, flanges, gaskets, seals and associated process items connect the installation and support its day-to-day operation. Their function and the equipment they connect with matter as much as the general product category.
NOVA’s wider product portfolio provides a route for discussing these individual requirements alongside larger equipment packages. Some enquiries begin with an identified replacement part; others start with the process function that an item needs to perform. Both benefit from a clear distinction between the component, its interfaces and the supporting supply.
APPLICATION CONTEXT
Flow-control products
Commodity and specialised valves support different control and isolation requirements. The intended function and documented service conditions establish the starting point for reviewing the proposed item.
APPLICATION CONTEXT
Mechanical interfaces
Flanges, gaskets, fittings and seals connect or support adjoining equipment. Drawings and identifiable references help keep the discussion tied to the actual interface rather than visual similarity.
APPLICATION CONTEXT
Associated production equipment
Flare systems and other process-related items may be discussed alongside the wider facility scope. The role of the equipment, the operating context and the associated controls determine how the supply is defined.

Bring individual production equipment requirements into focus
Separate the duty from the product label
The same broad equipment name can cover different duties and configurations. Describe what the item needs to do, the fluid or service involved and the operating information available. For valves, seals, fittings or flare equipment, identify the relevant installation and the reason for the enquiry. Explain whether you are replacing a known item, extending an existing package or evaluating equipment for a new requirement.
Specify the boundaries of supply
State which components, accessories and documents are required and which items will be provided elsewhere. Existing drawings, dimensions and nameplate references can help clarify interfaces. Include material or connection requirements established by your project, and identify information that still needs confirmation. Where the enquiry concerns piping connections or isolation equipment, our flowline equipment page provides a more focused starting point for the discussion.
